Getting Back to What You Want to Do: The Chiropractic Option

“Not sure what chiropractic can do for me… I’ve had a bad back for years…!”

As patients step into my office, I frequently hear statements like this. These are often people who are tired of being reliant on pain medication, and they have already tried a slew of other healthcare providers with little relief.

“I wish had come to you sooner!“

So it is rewarding to hear that reaction from smiling and energized faces when many of those same patients leave my office. I am glad they found chiropractic too!

Maybe you already have heard of chiropractic or even been to see a Doctor of Chiropractic (a DC). There are many different philosophies and techniques a DC can apply to your health condition. I will give you a little background on Casey Health Institute’s style of chiropractic and how it may be the solution for your spinal or musculoskeletal pain.

Musculoskeletal and Nervous System Treatment

Doctors of Chiropractic are healthcare providers who focus on the evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Chiropractic physicians provide a drug-free approach to healthcare by blending the art of hands-on therapy with the science and technology of modern medicine and physical rehabilitation. Treatments may include spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapies, functional rehabilitation and nutritional and lifestyle counseling.

As your chiropractor it is my goal is to get you out of pain and back to doing the activities you love to do. I focus on finding the points of painful dysfunction and returning correct function to those areas. By restoring the proper motion in the joints and integrity of the surrounding soft tissues, I can start to focus on reestablishing the body’s proper movement patterns. Various types of functional rehabilitation are incorporated to prevent the pain and dysfunction from recurring.

I encourage you to explore many possibilities to support your health. Designed to allow the body to heal itself, chiropractic could serve you well on your healthcare journey.
