Pain Perception

Walking into the doctors office, most of us are prepared to answer the typical question ” On a scale of 1-10; how much pain are you in right now.”

Most of us, practitioners included, underestimate the mathematical calculation our brains perform to complete such a task. Taking the personal experience of pain; of all the various characteristics, in addition to the spiritual, emotional and physical components of suffering into one simple number…. and volia…. the pain is a number… which will make it easier understood… or will it?
